Don’t count the days

Don’t count the days, make the days count.

I think I read that in one of Lou Holtz’s books.

If I have miss quoted

I apologize

At least I didn’t claim it was an original thought

To me it sounds like something Lou Holtz would say doesn’t it?

Only time I ever saw him in person was a Saturday in 1996.

For me that day counted. It was the only game I ever saw at Notre Dame.

They lost to Air Force in Overtime. I was 16. I was crushed.

The shine on the Golden Dome began to fade.

As a dad and a candidate for public office this phrase is even more meaningful now.

Don’t count the days

Make the days count

I’m tryin,

Ken

It was Muhammad Ali

Even better
