I’m your dad.

Thank you for an easy pregnancy. Your mom was so easy going over the last 8 months and you had to have something to do with that.

You came into this world on a Thursday at 12:34 P.M.

5 lbs 10 oz. All head like your old man.

Most importantly you and your mom were and are completely healthy.

I promise I’m going to do everything I can to make sure you have as great a start in life as any person currently on this planet. I hope nothing but good things be fall you during your life.

As long as I’m around,

you will always have someone who loves you,

you will always have someone to listen to you,

you will always have someone to talk with you,

That being said, let me be the first to tell you, no.

You’ll hear that word a lot. But, never let that stop you for doing what you know is right.

Some will try to knock you down. Others will lift you up.

I hope your heat will be broken,

for that means you have loved.

I can’t protect you from everything but I promise to help as much as I can over the next 18 years. After that, it’s kinda up to you. But we will talk about that as we move along this journey together.
