For the loser now will be later to win, November 8th.

Thank you.

Thank you first of all to my wife and my daughters. If it weren’t for the three of you I doubt I would have been courageous enough to have even have attempted to get elected to public office.

Thank you to all my family, friends old and new, my neighbors, and any other individuals that I have met and that have suppported this crazy idea of mine.

Lastly, thank you to the 16,767 voters of Indiana’s 5th Congressional District that entrusted me with their vote.

I lost,

by a lot

I wish I would have won the election. I’m not from participation medal generation. This loss does sting. However, when Missy and the girls celebrated my participation in this election on election night I swelled with pride, I cried, for I know in my heart that change begins in the home. If my only legacy in this world are my daughters then I truly believe I have won.

I hope that in my own little way I have helped grow a movement of election, societal, and governmental reform that will continue to grow in this district, our state, and our nation. I hope I have helped shed a light on the pitfalls of our democracy, the election process in general, and the inequities that are faced by any third party candidate.

I don’t know what the future will hold but I do know that I have taken a stand on behalf of our shared future. Whatever lays ahead for me in life I promise to keep being me.

  1. I give you alot if credit for putting yourself out there. I always stayed close to home where I knew my audience. Of course losing by numbers like 18. 45. And 3 stings like hell. I can name people who sat at home and did not vote. I did not let that stop me. I truly believe we needed something different so that is why I ran.

I am sure you meet and educated many people want, that (something different). I am very proud of you and your team. Life lesson. Being the difference. Love and Prayers
