Lets start with the asterisk from the “tag line”: time.

I don’t have all that much free time.

Do any of us?

Times like now, when both my girls are “resting” in their rooms after the conclusion of lunch.

Or during those glorious days in which they nap. Maybe an hour or less before they wake up, or more on those magical mornings that they sleep past 7:15 or so. I used to use this time to write in my many journals. But as I look ahead and think about what I want to do as my third act as a professional I think I would like to follow a theme I utilized in my classroom for over a decade.

That theme being:

“The Power of Words”

Maybe i’m wrong now. Maybe I was wrong then. But words matter. What we say. How we say it. Just as important who we say them to.

But, whatever time I do have i’m going to try and utilize some of my old journal entries, along with fresh material, to see if maybe, just maybe this theory could be correct.

In closing, I’d just like to apologize in advance for the websites appearance. Even though you don’t need to be a computer programmer or a computer engineer to utilize wordpress, it would help. Plus I’m at least 20 years behind the times. Still don’t have a smart phone. My flip phone does just fine.

Don’t feel sorry for me. I just had better things to do with my time then.
